About the author

Mike Graf has shared his writing, weather, national park, and other experiences with children and teachers in hundreds of schools. Graf currently teaches part-time in the child development department at Chico State University, teaching classes in child development, children's literature, and the school-age child, among others. Graf has been a TV weathercaster at six different television stations and an elementary school teacher for nine years. A national park fanatic, Graf gets to about 25 national parks every year.
