What is ONEBOOKAZ for Kids?

Brought to Arizona in 2002, and coordinated by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, ONEBOOKAZ for Kids is an exciting program that brings communities together through literature. Beginning in April every year, this program encourages Arizona children around the state to read the same book at the same time and participate in discussions and programs centered around that book. The goals of ONEBOOKAZ for Kids are:

An exciting new goal has been added to help Arizona kids read their way to the upcoming State Centennial. Beginning in 2007 and continuing through 2012, all the ONEBOOKS for adults and kids will center on Arizona topics and themes. As Arizona prepares for its Centennial in 2012, ONEBOOKAZ provides an opportunity for its citizens:
