About the book

Brought to Arizona in 2002, and coordinated by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, ONEBOOKAZ is an exciting program that brings communities together through literature. Beginning in April every year, this program encourages communities across the State of Arizona to read the same book at the same time and participate in discussions and programs centered around that book. The 2014 ONEBOOKAZ focuses on Arizonans as content creators with an eBook writing competition that was held during November. The selections are now available for digital download.

  • To celebrate literature
  • To foster a sense of community
  • To nurture partnerships
  • To support Arizonans as content creators
  • To enhance digital literacy skills
