Ask your parents or teacher for permission before sending your word, e-mail address, or other information to us or anyone else on the Internet.

What kind of words can you submit?
You can invent any kind of word you like. You can send the word you invented to ONEBOOKAZ web. However, no obscene or highly offensive words will be posted. Use the Make-your-own-word (MYOW) pages to follow the process to submit the word.

What happens after I submit my word?
All words submitted are reviewed by a team of librarians and teachers. We will post as many as we can, but we cannot guarantee that we will post all your words. We will e-mail you to say that your word has been posted and may ask you for your contact details if you have been selected to receive a prize.

Will I get credit for my word?
If you fill in the personal information requested in the MYOW form, we will give you credit for your entry. If you do not want any information about yourself to appear on your submitted word, simply check off the "I wish to remain anonymous" box on the MYOW information form. All information you send us about yourself will be treated in accordance with our privacy policy.

Will my word get in the "real" dictionary?
The words you send us are for use in ONEBOOKAZ’s Make Your Own Word, but we cannot promise they will ever get into any other dictionary. To find out more about how words get into other dictionaries, check out the article "How Does a Word Get Into the Dictionary" on ONEBOOKAZ website.
